What
is Tae Kwon-do?
Tae Kwon-do
literally means ‘way or art of hand and foot’.
‘Tae’
means to smash, kick or destroy with the foot.
‘Kwon’ means to smash or destroy with
the hand. ‘Do’ means way or art.
Tae Kwon-do
is a scientifically based Korean martial art, using your body
as
a human weapon with offensive and defensive techniques. It
is a practical and
effective form of self defence in today’s modern world

in your everyday life.
